|catchison||09:51 am - Early Miscarriage?|
So this is my chart.
We are TTC, we had sex the three days before ovulation, so I thought I was pregnant, but kept getting BFNs, then my period was at least 2 days late. I usually start on 12-13 dpo and started it on 16 dpo.
I starting having serious cramps on Friday which was 11dpo. Then wednesday, 16 dpo, I woke up at like 3/4am to pee and took my temp just because and it was low, 96.7, but then woke up at usual time, 5:30am and it was back up to what it had been every other dpo so far in the cycle, around 97.4.
As the day went on, Wednesday 16dpo, my cramps got worse and worse, and then AF came that afternoon. But the catch is that my temp is still high. Normal pre-ovulation is 96.5-97.0. Right now my temps are high like 97.2, 3 days into having AF, which is more of a post-ovulation temp. I know that every cycle is different but for the last 2 years, my cycles have been just about the same, and this is very different.
I am thinking it is an early miscarriage but wanted to see what others thought!
I think that given you only got BFNs on your tests, you were not pregnant. Temperatures during your periods aren't especially reliable, so it taking a little longer to go down to your normal pre-ovulation range isn't too strange.
Your cycles are always normal up until they're not! I wouldn't read too much into this.
Good luck with your TTC journey!
ETA: what app are you using to track your cycles? It's very pretty!

Thank you! I was thinking I might have been pregnant, based on how I was feeling, and was really hoping I was! We've only been trying for a couple months but just want it to happen, feels like itll never happen.
The app I use is called Selene, but I am not actually sure if it is still available on the app store. They do have a website, maybe check the website and email them! I love the app, it looks so nice and super easy to read!
"Your cycles are always normal up until they're not!"
I know this all too well lol. The last several cycles I've had, I spot for three days before AF actually shows. It started out of nowhere, and at first I was taking tests like crazy because that wasn't normal! But now it is. Sometimes our bodies just love to keep us on our toes. :/
The only way you'd really be able to tell is with a beta blood test.
It could be nearly anything making your temps stay up, so I wouldn't look too much into them.
I've spent a LOT of time and energy trying to interpret and guess and all manner of wishing things to happen. And take it from me...it's not worth it. Just relax and have fun until you get the + pg test!
